We are nestled on the Western shore of Maine’s largest lake! Moosehead Lake provides the backdrop for all our cabins, rooms and sites. RV sites with full hook ups are a short walk to the lake. Our full service restaurant,  lounge, marina and gift shop make your stay the perfect getaway. Our lodging is pet friendly and far away from busy roads. We have many miles of trails for hiking and biking with your family and furry family members.

The Birches Resort offers many different lodging options from quaint lodge rooms and rustic cabins on the lake, to modern vacation homes for larger groups. Our attractive accommodations are comfortable and beautifully situated, with views of the lake and Maine’s Great North Woods. We feature tenting sites with water and electric, and also have full hookup RV sites! Check out our Kozy Kabins and Wilderness Yurts for a real outdoor experience.  Most units have easy access to the lake and hiking and ski trails. Most units include a kitchen or kitchenette.
