Rangeley Lake State Park can be reached from Rumford via Route 17 or from Farmington via Route 4. Rangeley Lake is famous for brook trout and landlocked salmon fishing. The park offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the state in this region of mountains and lakes. Visitors will find well spaced campsites among fragrant spruce and fir trees; hot showers, and a boat launch with adjacent boat slips are also offered. Group camping areas are available.
